Valentine Hearts and a GIVEAWAY

For our craft project today Oliver and I made hearts out of wax paper and crayon shavings.
For this you will need
Wax Paper
Crayons
Crayon sharpener - I used scissors
Piece of paper
Ribbon/string
Iron

Step 1:
Cut a heart shape out of your construction paper
Step 2:
Trace your heart shape onto the waxy side of the wax paper. You will want to do this twice.

Step 3:
Cut out waxy hearts
Collect your crayon shavings. You can do this by using a pencil/crayon sharpener or just by sliding scissors down the crayon (thats what I did)

Step 4:

Lay one waxy heart wax side up and have your helper spread out the crayon shavings.

Step 5:
Cover the crayon shavings with the other waxy heart. Wax side down.
Iron. It only takes a few seconds for the crayon wax to melt.
Let dry.

Step 6:
Use the ribbon to hang them.
We hung ours on the fridge
Happy Valentines Day!
